MEET LYNNE DAVIS

From User Experience Design to Resident-Centered Government

Lynne Davis spent her professional career designing user interfaces for a national science digital library—taking vast, complicated systems and making them easy for everyday human beings to use. A local mixed-media artist with deep Rust Belt roots, Lynne understands hard work, community collaboration, and looking out for your neighbors.

She’s running for County Commission to bring plain-language transparency, systems oversight, and practical accountability to county decision-making.

Cumulative Oversight

No single data center decides our future; all of them together do. I’ll keep a public tracker and add up the combined demands on our grid, water and roads before the next approval, not after.

Growth That Pays Its Way

Big projects should cover their own costs, from power lines and roads to emergency services and eventual cleanup, with those commitments in writing.

People & Community

Growth should make Laramie County a better place to live: homes workers can afford, local job training, and a community young people want to come back to.

Safety & Civic Participation

Safety requires planning, and planning requires civic participation. Our emergency services should keep pace with growth, and county information should be easy to find and understand.

Water & Land

In semi-arid Wyoming, water is life. I’ll push to count the combined water use of every project before approving more, and our public lands must stay public.

Working Together

Good decisions take partners. I’ll bring the city, county and state to one table, and put our library, LCCC, UW and the NCAR-Wyoming Supercomputing Center to work for residents.
